The jury of this veteran competition, one of the most influential in the world and a benchmark in the US market, surrendered to the virtues of this white with intense, fresh and fruity aromas that already has an outstanding list of international awards
Bodegas De Alberto once again receives recognition for its wines. On this occasion, the Monasterio de Palazuelos 100% Verdejo DO Rueda 2021, one of the winery's most emblematic wines, has been awarded the Gold Medal of the San Francisco International Wine Competition (SFIWC)[1].
More than four decades old, the SFIWC is one of the oldest and most influential wine competitions in the world due, in large part, to the outstanding prestige of its judges, who valued the good structure and balance, as well as the intense and fresh aromas. of Monasterio de Palazuelos Verdejo, which already treasures an outstanding list of international awards.
Proud to maintain the highest levels of integrity and impartiality thanks to a first class professional jury, the SFIWC, one of the great references of the American market, is part of The Tasting Alliance, the parent organization of the world competitions of San Francisco, New York and Singapore.
If Bodegas De Alberto closed 2022 as a historic year thanks to the different awards received, 2023 begins with the same intensity adding a new award from the hand of this reference wine in the Rueda Designation of Origin. Last year, Monasterio de Palazuelos Verdejo obtained another Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, one of the world's great wine events, and two bronze medals, at the Cathay Pacific Competition and at the International Wine Challenge.
This latest award comes after De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico received bronze last December at the Japan Wine Challenge, and other sensational results in international evaluations and competitions such as Selections Mondiales des Vins (Canada), Decanter World Wine Awards and Parker Wine advocate.
