The historic winery opted for four nominations for the Verema Awards, benchmark awards in the sector in which both experts and consumers and users vote, one of the wineries with the most recognition.
Bodegas De Alberto, located in the heart of Castilla y León, in the Rueda Designation of Origin, was selected in the categories of Best Fortified Wine (From Alberto Dorado), Best Sweet Wine (From Alberto Dulce), Best Revelation Wine (From Alberto Pálido 2020) and Best Ecotourism Project.
The Verema DNA Wine Guide, well established in the world of wine, awarded 94 points to the Best Fortified Wine, by Alberto Dorado, which recently obtained the distinction of "exceptional" with 98 points in the Decanter tasting panel. Two recognitions that are added to the Great Golden Zarcillo achieved last October, in the last edition of these awards, to the Platinum Medal at the 'Decanter World Wine Awards' achieved for two consecutive years; the Great Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the Great Gold Bacchus; the Great Gold Medal in Vinespaña; the 95 Guía Peñín Points or the 91 Parker Wine Advocate Points.
In the Best Sweet Wine category, De Alberto Dorado Dulce, obtained 95 points and stands out for having an exclusive production of only 1,000 bottles dedicated especially to lovers of natural sweet wines.
The Best New Wine, From Alberto Pálido, achieved 92 points and stands out for its biological aging under a flor veil for more than three years in Verdejo grape barrels, which provides freshness and structure to this dry, delicate and light wine on the palate. with saline touches.
In addition, the wine tourism proposal of De Alberto Wineries has risen as Third Best Wine Tourism Project, "for the originality of their visits to Memoria Habitada and All You Need Is Gold, which include two proposals that are highly valued by the visiting public: the underground cellars of the 17th-century Dominican monastery and the uniqueness of the production of De Alberto Dorado wine, oxidized in demijohns under the sun and aged in solera barrels over 70 years old”.
