The awards, which celebrate their 19th national edition (the 11th international one), aim to encourage the production of superior quality wines to become a meeting point capable of bringing together the best references in the sector
Three of our wines have been awarded the Zarcillo de Plata in the latest edition of the awards. They are De Alberto Dorado, De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico and De Alberto Tempranillo Ecológico.
De Alberto Dorado is the only wine made using the oxidative aging method in demijohns exposed to the sun and later aged in soleras; For their part, De Alberto Verdejo Ecológico and De Alberto Tempranillo Ecológico come from organic 100% vineyards, cared for with the most meticulous and innovative methods.
All three have been awarded a silver medal at the 2023 Zarcillo Awards; awards organized by the Junta de Castilla y León since 1991, which this year have celebrated their 19th national edition in Burgos and the 11th international one. More than 2,000 samples from 40 different countries have participated in them.
The objectives of these awards are to encourage the production of superior quality wines and promote their consumption in a reasonable manner; publicize the types of wine characteristic of the different wine-growing areas; increase the technical and scientific level of the participating wineries; constitute a meeting point for the best wines in the world and contribute to the expansion of wine culture.
Bodegas De Alberto manages, once again, by obtaining these awards, to be among the most prestigious wineries in the national and international arena, with the recognition of its products in one of the competitions with the most tradition and reputation.
Throughout 2023, Bodegas De Alberto has also been recognized with the Gold and Silver medals at the Mundus Vini International Wine Awards, and with the highest score awarded by The Drink Business, which make its De Alberto Dorado Dulce the best wine from the DO Rueda.
