The winery has received six new awards in the prestigious national competition, consolidating its excellence in the production of unique wines
Bodegas De Alberto continues to reap successes and consolidate its prestige in the national wine scene. In the latest edition of VINESPAÑA 2025, one of the most important competitions in the sector in Spain, the winery has obtained six medals, including a Great gold for Alberto Pálido, the highest recognition awarded by the contest.
This exclusive wine, made with grapes 100% Verdejo, stands out for its organic breeding under flower veil, a traditional method that gives it a dry, elegant character and notes of almond and salinity, which make it unique in the DO Wheel.
In addition, the jury has awarded four golds to other emblematic wines of the winery. Golden De Alberto, prepared by oxidative aging in demijohns and century-old soleras, keeps alive a unique tradition in Rueda, with a complex combination of aromas of nuts and vanilla. Sweet Golden De Alberto, On the other hand, it represents a more delicate version, with an elegant natural sweetness and notes of raisins and honey.
They have also been recognized De Alberto on Lees, a Verdejo with great structure and smoothness thanks to its aging on lees and Valdemoya Rosé Estate, a 100% Tempranillo rosé with aromas of red fruits and a juicy and balanced mouthfeel, ideal for pairing with white meats and fresh dishes.
The winery's commitment to sustainable production has been rewarded with a Silver Medal for Alberto Verdejo Ecologico, a fresh and aromatic wine from vineyards 100% Ecological, which stands out for its notes of citrus and white fruits.
VINESPAÑA: a benchmark event in the wine sector
Organised by the Spanish Federation of Winemakers' Associations (FEAE), VINESPAÑA is one of the most prestigious competitions in Spain, standing out for its rigour and recognition within the sector. Its aim is to reward excellence in winemaking at a national level, offering participating wineries a platform to give visibility to the quality and diversity of their productions.
The competition has a jury made up of oenologists, sommeliers, sensory analysis experts and specialized critics, who evaluate the wines in strict blind tastings, guaranteeing the impartiality and prestige of the awards given.

These awards reinforce the position of Bodegas De Alberto as a benchmark in the Rueda Designation of Origin, especially in the production of golden wines, a historical category that the winery has known how to preserve and enhance.
