Valladolid, February 12, 2020. Bodegas De Alberto will present on February 12 and 13 at the Valladolid International Wine Tourism Fair (FINE) its wine tourism offer focused on the uniqueness of the journey through more than three centuries of winemaking legacy, from the underground cellars of the 17th century Dominican monastery , to the exciting journey to reveal the secrets of making a historic wine from the Rueda Denomination of Origin: De Alberto Dorado.
During two days of the fair and one of visits to the winery dedicated to the professional public of the tourism sector, Bodegas De Alberto will show the different types of visits it offers, both for the individual visitor, as well as for organized groups and the MICE sector, which according to Ángeles Jiménez, responsible for Wine Tourism at Bodegas De Alberto, "is increasingly looking for more exclusive and unique experiences, unique experiences."
Bodegas De Alberto is one of the oldest wineries in the Rueda Designation of Origin. It is located in the old Monastery of San Pablo and its underground cellar from the 17th century, in the municipality of Serrada, 1.50 hours from Madrid via the A-6.
During the visit Inhabited Memory the long history of the winery (more than 350 years) and the production process of white, red and rosé wines are explained, and special emphasis is placed on the winery's most special and traditional wine: De Alberto Dorado (wine elaborated in demijohns in the sun and in solera barrels).

Bodegas De Alberto is the only winery of the DO Rueda that, with its De Alberto Dorado Verdejo 100% DO Rueda, has maintained since its birth in the 40s the elaboration of the historic golden wine, strictly following the traditional methodology: developing a crianza Oxidative in open-air ‘demijons’ and a solera aged in 600 liters capacity barrels with a mother wine of more than 70 years.
